The kids bought 3 sussex cross silkie chicks from the pet shop, theyre nearly 5 mths old and 2 are roosters. Most of my chickens are not young and some of them I inherited I think are no longer laying, I was just wondering if older hens still go broody and do they ever if they are no longer laying?[IMG]

Quote:Thanks that was quick, I was going to give the roosters away as theyre a bit noisy, annoy the neighbours, but though Id see if I could get some chicks first. Like I said I took on other peoples chickens and I think some of the girls are getting on!
