Remember that book about the chicken that didn't lay fancy eggs......til Easter, then her eggs got painted and she was popular!

Anyway, I sent a note. Im in a pickle. I am forced to sell my petersime#1 redwood incubator. Clinic bills are racking up for me. What is she worth today?
Somewhere on this BYC there are pictures of her. Shes very nice. We incubated in her til last year. We really don't need anything nearly that large any more.
Anybody know about what its worth. I have a guy coming to look at her today. I had her for sale at 1000.00 dollars. Is that out of line?

If you advertised it as $1,000. and the guy wants to see it - he doesn't think that price is way out of line. It also depends on the condition of the incubator. He will probably try to haggle a lot over the price. You may want to hold your price for now. If after some amount of time you aren't getting any serious buyers, you can reduce the price somewhat.
    I'm sorry I wouldn't know it's worth.

I have never had an incubator but, I would think a wooden one is much harder to sanitize.

There's a lot of great peeps here! Feel free to ask lots of questions. But most of all, make yourself at home. I'm so glad you decided to join the BYC family. I look forward to seeing you around the run. Good luck with the sale of your incubator. :fl
