Older hen poopy butt, slow walking

I have a four year old red sex link. Her backside has been very poopy, and she walks slow and labored. I have soaked her in a warm tub twice, cleaned her backside but she is not improving. Now her posture seems off; tail very low, almost dragging. I have seen her eat a little. Comb and wattles still bright red, feet and legs are yellow.

What more should I try?

Is she walking like a penguin?

Have you checked her abdomen for lumps or hardness?

If she's doing the penguin waddle, it could be internal laying.

I'm afraid I agree with MrsB - sounds a lot like internal laying or ascites (fluid build up in the abdomen), both of which are very common in older production breeds of chickens.
