    Hi,

I have a 14 week old olive egger that I'm unsure about. He/she is larger than my other chickens and has always had a more prominent comb.

    Thanks!

Olivia - that coloring is female specific.

Thank you! Now I won't spend so much time staring at her trying to decide. [IMG]

I think that might be a rooster............
does the he/she hang out with one of your ladies more than all the others?
The tuff on the head looks roostery. Do you notice sickles hackles or weak attemps at crowing? Good luck hope this helped[IMG]

No doubt there, its a girl. Like junebuggena, that color pattern is female specific.

Agree that's female. A male bird won't be that color, that's a girl color pattern.

Love the little crest. Do you know what her background is? I'm wondering if Welsummer x CCL, something like that? Makes a cute little hen, for sure.
