    1st Egg... either a barred rock or buff rock at 19 wks 3 days. Don't know which, because I was out looking at boats.
    They are finally coming off the Chicken Welfare Rolls. 1st egg only cost us $973

    973.00, just think, from now on the rest are free, woo hooo! I don't even want to mention how much my first cost me, I'm afraid to think about it. but I'm enjoying the great taste of real free range eggs!! [​IMG]

    Congrats!

    I have two BR laying. One produces a cream colored egg the other a brown egg. I also have two buff rocks now 14 weeks old and am looking forward to see what color eggs they give me.
