Totally new to backyard chickens. Our are 12-14 weeks. After reading some of the other posts, i'm afraid I ended up with an entire flock of roosters.

    #1: Feathers, cock-a-doodle-doo'd this morning:

#2: Honeydew, long tail feathers, most people seem to think he's a cockerel, though (s)he hasn't (yet) crowed:

#3: Chicky. What do you think?? His/her comb and waddle look very "red".

    All three together:

All cockerels, sorry! [IMG] Lovely boys. If you can't keep them, I'm sure you'll find good homes for them! [IMG]

Yeah, all boys. At *that* age none of them should have so much red headgear (comb & wattles) on. Sorry. [IMG]

Sorry, but those all look like males to me. They are all very pretty! I especially like the Mottled Cochin.

3 cute boys. They make a nice bachelor flock, unfortunately you won't be getting eggs.....

Your roosters are at the early end of the age range for pointy hackle and saddle feathers. At this age it's pretty much about the comb. A Leghorn pullet might have a comb that large at this age, but it wouldn't be as red yet. None of the females of those breeds would have near that much comb at that age.

Can I just tell y'all how bummed I am? We have fallen in love with these guys. To keep all three, we'd need 30 hens! And we only have space for 3 hens. And we're *totally* urban. Our kids are going to be devastated. Alas, our breeder did her best at sexing and will take them back, but I'm still sad sad. Look at this 4-year old's face. :-(
