OMG Finally! Yet another "first egg"

    Ok, I have hens that lay eggs. I've already had my first egg ever. More than a year ago. But I feel like I just got my first egg ever all over again! My lovely Sugar (yes, I'm very biased here lol) an Orpington pullet that is 9 months and 1 week old FINALLY LAID HER FIRST EGG today!!! [​IMG] [​IMG]

    The event triggered a celebratory oatmeal treat for everyone lol. They don't get treats all that much any more but I made an exception.

    Wow -- congrats!!! She must've been studying the technique because she certainly got it right!

    Congrats! First egg ever is the best, then there is the first egg from one you hatched, raised, then one of them laying their first LOL...chicken math. [​IMG]
