OMG so excited!

    I can't believe it!!! I thought the closest lavender orpington breeders were in Augusta Georgia a hundred miles or so away. Otherwise the majority of them I knew of were in WA and OR. BUT, by pure coincidence while I was at work at Tractor Supply the other day I was talking to a chicken person and the tld me what they breed... amongst the many uncommon chicken and pheasant breeds LAVENDER ORPINGTONS!!! aaaaannnnnd they have one 3 month-old trio left! Getting them next week, I am so excited! Just had to vent!

    Now even more excited!!!! I recently found a card for a local breeder who has several rare breeds and is NPIP cert, and she has Lavender Orps!! She has started up he bators and I am getting some of her chicks that are due to hatch March 2nd. I'm so happy to find some from 2 different breeders!
