We were missing our only bantam chicken and thought she was gone for good until today. I heard her growling at the dog and went over to discover her sitting on 6 eggs and 3 babies!! Three of the eggs that were pipping and the three fluffybutts I brought inside and put in the bator. She is still sitting on the other three unhatched eggs so ill have to keep an eye on her to see if those ones hatch. Im so excited cause Ive never had a broody before! The babies are cornish /Astrolorp mixes.
