    Hey everyone!

I have a hen that went broody at about a year old. She hatched 1 chick, but then a day or 2 later it died. [IMG] She kept sitting on the nest though, so I gave her some eggs that were in the bator. A week later, they hatched, but she was a bad mom to them! She would try to get away from them, keep them away from the food, and then picked them up by the tip of their wings and flung them across the cage! I kicked her out of the brooder after that. Now she's broody again and I have some eggs I'm incubating under her. Should I take the eggs away from her, or let her try again?

    Thanks!
    S.
