One 2 week old chick closes one eye! Why??? Is she sick?

She is healthy otherwise. She keeps one eye closed but there is nothing visibly wrong with it. No pus, crusts, etc etc. It doesn't look swollen either. What could be wrong?

I had the same thing happen to one of my chicks. I checked it the next day and it was fine. I think they get pecked in the eye or something else and it takes a night of sleeping to heal it. But if it gets swollen or develops pus, I would seek the advice of a professional!

they scratch a lot when growing feathers and sometimes irrate their eyes. warm towel and then a thin layer of neosporin for a couple of days..
