At least three of my girls are laying eggs, the two leghorns and one Rhode Island red. But I am getting one from each of them a day I mean one of them laying one day one of them laying the next day one of the blame the next day. Before the red started laying I was getting at least two a day from the two leghorns. So, 3 laying, 1 egg total a day. Is this normal?

I thought it might be something like that. They're so cute, one of them will stand outside the coop and announce to the world that there's an egg being laid! And they take turns in the nesting box! They are so funny!

Most breeds don’t lay every day ,

The sex links do lay everyday but lay and live for a very short time .
