One egg a week ago - now nothing?

One egg appeared just over a week ago from one of our 4 hybrids (16 weeks and 19 weeks old) - nicely presented in the nest box - but now nothing for 8 days. Have searched everywhere and can't find any more. Is it possible that a young chicken would lay one and then stop for a while?

Mine are all in molt, I got nothing either. I have 12 birds that should be laying but.. ya.. molt.. maybe thats your birds issue to?

Being that their new layers she this is very common. With the oldest being only 19 weeks old be glad you got the one egg!!!
