    Hey Everybody:
MMH did it again! 34 babies shipped Sunday and arrived 9:30 this morning all the way to south LA. through the cold. All 34 made the trip quite well, no warmers.

Gave each one a drink of water going into brooder. They literally attacked the Grogel and then the starter. They are so full of life. All look real good with no indications of problems as of yet, fingers crossed. Now they are in for a culture shock.

Yogiman, you better tell MissPrissy you're too busy with new chicks to make a fancy lunch. (See other thread) Congrats, they look so fabulously good.

    chicken_runner asks:
how many do you plan to raise?

Answer: A bunch! There were 34 in this order from MM. I have an order from Ideal coming Mar. 12 for 32 more. I already have 11 buff orp pullets that are 11 mo. old.
Problem is: Now that I have seen the blue orps and the blue laced red wyandottes I am hooked on them as well.
I'm hoping to get some fertile eggs that are purebred along with an bator and try my hand at that.
I plan to start a breeding program with several different breeds just as a hobby.
Got chicken fever bad, don't I?
