One of my girls passed away

When I went out to tuck them in for the night and close the coop, she was sitting on the roost by herself kind of panting with her feathers puffed out. Her bottom was kind of red and it some feathers were missing from around her bottom. I set some food beside her on the roost but she didn't touch it. I said a little prayer for her and locked them up for the night, but when I went out the next morning, she was laying in the corner dead. I just feel so bad that she died by herself in the night. She was such a sweet thing.

She was about 9 months old. She was laying fine, but I haven't seen an egg from her in about 3 weeks.
