one of my silkie bantams has blue ear lobes?

    Yep, that is standard for silkies. They still lay brown/light brown eggs though. Technically they are "tinted" eggs.

    Perfectly normal for a silkie. Aren't they pretty? Like tropical fish.

    Yes, that is one of their endearing features, all mine have beautiful blue topaz lobes .
    The white silkies look especially pretty.

    Yeah our silkie roo ((I don't know if he knows he's a roo [​IMG] )) has such pretty blue earlobes!!
