One of "the babies" found her Big Girl voice

I have some 13 week old RIR's, and DH said he thought he heard one of the boys attempting to crow, but I've not heard it yet.
But tonight when I was outside with them, one was just kinda wandering around pretty much alone.. and she was trying to bwak.. It was quite cute. She kept looking like she was wondering where the sound came from. She's not the biggest of the group- but she is pretty bold. Shes the one that likes running after the cat pecking his butt.

I'm waiting for my girls to Bwak! They just peep and coo at this point.

It's sweet to walk in and all peep at me and peep so sweetly...

I'm waiting for the day when my Bwak and then ask for the keys to the car!

My Cuckoo maran has always had a deep voice, but she hasn't bawked yet!

That's funny that you mention them having big girl voices. Mine (4 RIR's and 8 EE's) will be 13 wks old tomorrow and I noticed yesterday that they aren't really 'peep-peeping" anymore. They are sort of half-way to sounding like the big girls.

Oh! My girls are about 11 weeks and I'm not ready for the peeping & cooing to go away yet!!
