We have a broody sitting on 3 golf balls. At yesterday's Indiana meetup we picked up 5 chicks from day old to a week old. Last night we took out a golf ball and slipped in one of the week old EE's, and a day old Silver Spangled Hamburg.

Today momma is completely fooled and babies are doing well [IMG]

Tonight the last two golf balls will come out and the three babies left will go in. I LOVE hatching golf balls - so reliable, no quitters, and can hatch in less time than regular eggs if you need them to! [IMG]

UPDATE: all the golf balls "Hatched" successfully - we have five babies with one Seriously Protective momma!! (just ask the neighbor dog, he knows!)
