Trying to get my chicks here is impossible!!!

Canada Post will only let you ship chicks from actual registered commercial hatcheries, and I'm getting mine from a large breeding farm, so we don't have that option.

Our only airline that flies here departs from an airline that is over an hour away from the breeder, which she was more than generous to offer to do. BUT the airline is slightly crazy about the way that they want them shipped. To the point that it is going to be way too much of a pain to find the specific kind of container that they are requiring.

So that means that I have to take an hour and a half ferry, drive for an hour and a half - pick them up and then drive like crazy to make it back in time for the last ferry home! Ack!

Sorry to hear it's so hard to get them shipped but once you get them home you won't regret the effort. Plus you'll be there to bring them home instead of relying on people that may or may not care.
