This is a contest strictly for Wyandottes, go ahead and submit your beautiful birds here. I will be judging, and I'll base it off of the American Standard of Perfection. First place will go to the bird who bears closest resemblance to perfection.

    Requirements:

-One side shot, and of decent quality.
-Pictures must show from head to toe if possible, and must display the full tail.
-You must list the color variety of the bird, so that I know which standards to look for on that particular color variety.

    Good luck, everyone!

Oops, I forgot to list the ending date.

The contest ends Jun 30th! Good luck, everyone!

I'd enter some of my birds, but too much headache to get the shots of them that you're requiring.

I can negotiate, how about one shot?

You're right, two does seem difficult. Chickens never stand still long enough to meet those requirements, so I'll edit the rules.

One is much more doable. Is it only accepted colors since you're going by the APA standard?

    White
    Black

Quote:Some of the colors you have listed are only accapted for bantams not LF. I know the BLR isn't accepted for either size bird and I don't believe the barred, mille fleur or red are either. At least they aren't listed in my APA standard book.

That's strange, on the site I went to, it said that was the list. How goofy! Alright, I'll ix that.

You didn't say that it had to be an adult, so here is Silverwings, a Silver laced Wyandotte, when she was a few days old.

Colombo, my 4 1/2 yr old Columbian Wyandotte, probably not "show quality" but I love him.[IMG][IMG]
