My 3 day old Naked Neck chick has a sore on its knee. It will not put its leg down. Its eating and drinking well though. Should I treat with antbiotics?

    Hi [IMG] Welcome To BYC

Can you post some photos of the chick and the sore?
Do you know the cause of the sore?

Without seeing it, it's hard to advise, but general care would be cleaning/flushing the sore with saline, betadine or warm soapy water. Pat dry, then apply Vetericyn or a triple antibiotic ointment to the sore.

Watch for signs of infection like oozing, pus, redness, swelling or odors.

Let us know how she's doing.
