Opinions needed...blue or black silkie??

    For a long time I really thought this was a dark blue cockerel. Now I'm not so sure if he's a dark blue or a slightly washed black. My other black silkies are so dark black. Here are photos with him next to them. Opinions??

    On my monitor the pics are a bit dark...it's cloudy and my iPhone doesn't have flash. My new camera should be here today and I'll post new pics as soon as I get them.

    I also say that he's a dark blue.

    Dark blue, I have a couple like that. If the down isn't black, it's not a black but a blue. Same with the rigid wing feathers.
