Can I ask your opinion on this beak? 🤔

It was not like this before. I know it's molting season & everything is out of whack, but is this a chip or something more serious? Is there anything I can do for him?

Sorry about picture quality. I was trying to get every angle & he wasn't having it! 😅

It looks like a layer fracture. It can be caused by a lack of keratine in the diet.
What do you feed him?
There isn't much you can do about this without risking further damage. Do not be tempted to trim his beak. You can if you are very carefull file some of the rough patch away a little bit at a time.
If he is eating okay then I would leave it and see if his natural use of his beak wears the fracture away in time.

Oh, he is definitely eating fine! He stole some of my eggs this morning before I could get to them. 😑 He doesn't act like it's bothering him at all, I just want to make sure it's not going to further itself deeper!

He eats All Flock! They do get treats here & there. I've been looking for a good "all-around" supplement for my chickens, but it doesn't look like there's one supplement that has it all. 🙃
