3 week old buff Orpington, Daisy. I have 2 and they both have combs coming in. Didn’t get 2nd photo because Ducky isn’t as friendly. I’ve looked at full grown hens and they have a small comb, but is there any chance this could be a indication of a cockerel? Thank you!!!
 
There are no blatant signs of being a cockerel visible at this point. That being said 3 weeks is still fairly early for gender assessment with only the blatant early bloomers being able to be ascertained at this point
 
I need a pic of the tail, that will tell me for sure, I've had 16 buffs raised and I can tell from the back usually
In my experience the girls have a poofy pointy tail and the roos will be shorter squared and more feather like compared to the girls at this age

here you can see my babies when they were about the same age as yours, maybe a bit younger.. in the middle of the dish is a rooster, see his short tail, colored already golden? and above is the poof tail that is a hen
based on my experiences and this pic amongst others my guessimate is you have hens. :)

Thank you so much! I appreciate the feed back for sure. There’s so many different factors and things on the internet. Fingers crossed for pullets!
