Sickle feathers are the long curved feathers on a cock/erels tail. The swoopy ones.

oh I see lol. then yes pin feathers coming through and I absolutely do think it's a cockerel. Even the neat hair has new feathers coming through

yes same bird lol. photos of days apart. I'm glad I could capture what I was seeing as I could see cockerel characteristics and all the pictures I took screamed hen. I'm pretty certain now even at this young age it's a boy lol
