Chirping
I purchased three random grab-bag day old chicks to put under a broody hen that I had. One of them looks like your typical Easter egger, the other two are kind of a mystery to me. I contacted their breeder and she said they found out a couple of weeks ago that their chicks had more genetic diversity than they anticipated, and gave me a list of breed types that the parents are. I think that what I have in the pictures are a novagen x barred rock cross, and a novagen. Barred rock, leghorn, RIR, and novagen are all parent options. The VERY colorful one totally looks like a roo to me, but does not behave like one. The mostly white one does not look like a roo to me, but crows like one, and kinda walks like one sometimes.
