So i want to cross a breed with a Appenzeller Spitzhauben, and i was thinking either a cross with a silkie bantam, or cochin.

Which one do you think should be crossed with it?

*Silkies for mothering ability... are cochins good mothers too?

Hi! I think a spangled Cochin or Silkie would be pretty but that couldn't be accomplished in the first generation cross.
Cochins are good broody hens, but I don't know about 'good mothers'. What are your other goals for the cross?
