I ordered 10 Rhode Island Reds pullets and they hatched today. I should receive them in a few days.
congrats. I have one RIR and she is a great layer.

RIR's are good layers of brown eggs, the 2 in our mixed flock lay almost every day. Hope you enjoy them and pictures of the little ones would be nice to see.
Everyone here has left very good advice. I have three RIRs myself and they're wonderful birds, they're great layers, very friendly, and very curious. Hope you will post pictures when they arrive. Enjoy your new babies and BYC.

I hope your Rhode Island Reds all arrive safely! I've enjoyed my Production-style Rhode Island Red. She's been a very good layer, though hasn't had the best personality of my birds (not mean, just standoffish).
