First of all, I know its risky and the aircell is sometimes damaged! i have no other option.. my 2hens that lay eggs that will develop into chicks, are the ones that just went broody & they have eggs that arent good under them right now.

Can anyone tell me any helpful info. Its my first time ordering eggs.

Any shipped egg is a gamble. Wherever you get them, when they arrive, store them pointing end down in a carton for at least 24 hours, no turning, then candle to check the aircells and for cracks. The aircell is the important part. If they are set, not rolling around loose, then you can give them to your broodies if you are wanting them to incubate them for you. If they still roll, I would return them to the carton and let them set at least 12-24 hours more to see if you can get the air cell to stabilize to the fat end of the egg.

I've set over 300 shipped quail eggs and I've never had any issue at all. I put them all in the incubator within 3 hours of receiving them. I have had very good hatch rates.

If you could, I would try and buy some that are from your region.
