oriental large birds texas

I just got into roos again and i ordered saipen jungle, black shamo from ideal and some black brested asil from efowl.
Im looking to create a large bird with great game ability. Gonna keep a trio of each pure and cross bread some.
Do any of you have any suggestions for good birds. I want large(30+in) black roosters green sheen and a splash of red

hows the chicks doing?

I'm probably going to take a road trip towards the end of December and pick some up

Bignasty,have electrolytes in the water and the brooder up to temp. Some scrambled or boiled eggs mashed up fine gives them a little boost.They aren't IMO as delicate as they look.lol Make sure your brooders is predator proof. Predators are the biggest worry for me in the outside brooder,or was until I hooked up an electric fence.

And if you have kids, make sure they understand to wash their hands after coming in contact with the chicks.
I made my 16 year old daughter read up on then explain to me what salmonella was and how to prevent catching it.My wife thought I was a little extreme,but I didn't want her getting hurt.
