I am new to Oroville. I'd like four to six hens. Can someone help me point to the codes? I've found the municipal codes. I can't seem to locate chicken info.

As far as I have heard, in city limits, you can have up to 6 hens, but no roosters.

I live in South Side Oroville and everyone I mean everyone has Roosters and more than just six Hens around here. I own Roosters and animal control has said nothing to me about them and I've had mine almost two years. I was told South Side isn't part of the city. .not sure if that's true or not but as I stated honestly, yes, people do have alot of Chickens around here. .along with Roosters!! Plus our neighbor has somewhere around like 6 or 7 ducks all out in their front yard in plain sight and in plain view.As far as I can tell nothing has been said to them about their ducks. I just ordered chicks from Stromberg's and they're due to arrive March 16th all female and I'm super excited!!.
