Orp Hatch for Steffpeck- Part 2- 17 chicks hatched- Pics added

This hatch will double as a test hatch for my blues and buffs. I have a splash rooster over a black hen (and a couple more pullets that should be laying soon). I also have a buff in with 5 buff hens.

I set 3 buff and 3 blue eggs for Steffpeck 15 days ago. Of those, 3 buff and 2 blues are doing great.

I set more 8 days ago and candled them tonight. There are 15 buffs and 2 blues (The only ones I managed to finagle out of that hen in a week) that are also going strong.

I will update as the hatches get close.

I'm in Shelley. I sometimes hunt in Copper Basin (in the Challis National Forest).
