Orpington dies at 10 months

Last night my buff Orpington died for no particular reason. She and the rest of the flock was acting comepletly normal yesterday. One of our friends said that she had a couple Orpingtons die young and she thought it was from a heart attack. Do you have any idea what happened?

Did you check her real good for bugs? (lice/mites)
Did she lay an egg yesterday?

Cloudy, rained for a bit but I live in Seattle so that's normal
She was real dirty cuz I think she fell off the roost but none I think

I just lost one at 4 months..suddenly got lethargic then dead in a day. No other sx. Sorry for your loss..is sad when thwus happens

I am so sorry for your loss. I lost both of my Buff Orps at an early age too with absolutely no idea what happened

Honestly I didn't think so. When I researched I thought they were pretty hardy. Mine were the sweetest too..
