Do buff orpingtons lay in the winter and are they good with dogs?

Buffy is fine with Ernest. And she's a great layer - 5 eggs every week.

i think it really depends on the dog... all my chickens ( dif breeds ) get on with my dogs. my 12 wk old dorkings chase my blue heelers... [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] [IMG] & the older girls just walk around them. & dont really give them another thought. unless they sneak up on them
