WE HAVE A ROUND 15 COLOURS OF ORPINGTON ON OUR FARM IN UK
HERE ARE SOME OF THEM !!!
YOU HAVE SOME AMAZING ORP"S!!!!
Quote:The UK Orpingtons on this forum are just beautiful! I had buffs about 4 years ago and have ordered Blue Orpingtons for spring. I didn't even know that Orpington's came in such a wide variety of colors but have always liked their disposition and the fact that they were dual purpose. I'm really looking forward to my upcoming chicks and will subscrib to this "topic" and try to post pics when I get them!
The Orpington only appeared in this world since 1886 , the creator William Cook
but they are ranking #1 in the list of poultry so far
i am on the the list of their fans
There are a few good threads already going on Orps. Here are the links if you want to check them out.
There is a Bantam Orpington thread too, but I couldn't find the link.
My husband and I raise only LF BBS orps that we imported from England two years ago. Here are a few pictures of our that I took a few days ago.
Hagrid, Olympia & Octavia
Winston & Clementine
A few Buffs and Blacks
Bill - You have a few really nice looking black girls there - and I really like your splash hen too.
