Our big Blk Orp Boy Herc, I hatched in May

    You can't tell by the photo but he's a big boy already. I'm breeding him to a blue hen, hope to get some cute babies. He's such a ham and likes to be held, just a gentle giant. We love him, [​IMG]

    WOW! He will be a big one....a true "Looker"! Just wondering.....do you have a black hen to mate him with or only the blue? I'm a newbie so its a genetics question.

    He's beautiful. Should make you some pretty babies. I just love how everyone says the Orps are so gentle. I've got my first, 8-6 week olds and 2 -3 week olds. I can't wait 'till they grow.
