Our boys' first crows

Hi all

Just wanted to share in our excitement. Our two 4 month old roos started crowing this morning. Such a cute sound to hear their first crows. They do everything together so I guess it was inevitable that they would both try to crow together as well.

But oh do we love the sound of our boys...even if it takes them some time to sound like they aren't strangling.

Aren't they cute? Gumbo sounded like a rusty toy asking a question when he first started to crow; we laughed ever time we heard him!

It's amazing how different each of them sounds. Feather Butt has a low and grating crow, but all the parts are there. Chaucer is hig pitched demented squeeky toy sounding.

And he is the bigger of the two! When I was listening to them at 5 this morning, I would have sworn they were the other way around.
