Today we were finally able to get a look at our ducks nest she'd been sitting on under the coop, while she was out drinking... she hatched out some eggs we let her sit on!!!! Its her first nest, she's a year old.... I'm so proud of her, but now I'm not sure what to do.... We house our 3 chickens with our duck pair, and right now the ducklings are safe under the coop. When the ducklings come out will the cickens peck them? And if we take the ducklings away, how will the duck react?
I don't know what I want to do with them but I know we cant keep all of them, maybe one at the most.... any thoughts, suggestions? I feel sad thinking of taking them from her.
