We got our first egg today, my daughter was SO excited. It seems someone pecked the bottom. Should we feed it back to the hens or throw it away? I've tried looking online, it seems everyone thinks differently...

They have one to eat before you know it they'll prefer the real thing than a supplement

A egg laid that day that is cracked or pecked and isn't leaking can be consumed if it is cooked.
