    This is our free bird. Does anyone know what it is? And is it male/female? In this pic it is about 2 weeks old.

    I should say, it looks a lot like my Easter Egger when she was little... green legs, eyeliner. Yours has a different body color though.

    I agree, looks like an EE to me, If I had to guess the sex I would say Roo. It has some right thick looking legs

    I agree, it's an EE and really not that exotic. But they are pretty cool and can lay any color egg. Very cute!

    The green legs seem to point toward americauna of salmon favorella.

    here is an update on this bird. Is it a hen? It is one of the biggest chick of all the 33 we have. I should also say that he/she is now around 7 weeks old.

    He won't let us get close to him. You point at him and he will do anything...run, jump over or under other chicks. He just tramples 'em. I would love to keep him, but if he's going to be a scaredy cat not sure I want him. I was hoping he would be a pullet! Maybe I can keep him so he mates with the girls and get some mutt hens that way???
