Beautiful pictures! And the hens sure look happy!
But I gotta ask... WHAT do you do with all those eggs?!
Quote:Thanks! We sell the eggs through an organic cooperative. They produce about 1200 dozen a week.
Very nice pictures. One day I want a place out in the country where I can let my chickens have that much roaming space. (And horse, pigs, and goats too.)
Do they have nests inside the barn/coop or do they lay out in the grass??
They look so good against the green grass. Very nice!
Quote:They have nest boxes in the barn. Two long rows of double-sided nests. The eggs roll out the back of the nests to a center conveyor belt that brings the eggs into the egg room.
Wow, what an AWESOME set-up!!! I can't wait to have a farm some day....
only in my dreams!
How gorgeous! I just love your place! And your hens are in love too. Thanks for sharing.
