Hi all, as I said in my intro it's been a long time since I have been here or had chickens. Losing my last 4 was pretty hard on me. But today I am back with 4 new babies! I'm super excited!
They don't have names yet as I just got them today, not sure of their age either I forgot to ask (any ideas?). I got them from IFA. They are running around happy as can be, They are already scratching, and trying to dust. They are 2 Rhode island reds and 2 Black sex links. sorry the pics are not the best but here they are.

Silly girls, today was their first game of chicken football . With all things.....A piece of pine bedding. One picked up a piece and the others chased her all over with it! I was laughing so hard watching them. 2 of them finally have names, My DD named hers Perch because she likes to perch on her finger. One got named Marty after my sons chicken that got killed several years ago. He is on his own now but asked if we would name one after her. The other 2 will get names after my DH returns from working out of town. I also think they are trying to figure out their pecking order as one will fly at another one and the other 2 will follow suit, but it's never the same one twice that instigates it. They all seem to take turns.
