Our new chick is a????

    Our little Shelby is a sweet orphan who lost her mom and sis a couple weeks ago. She is just starting to be accepted by our young flock of 6 month olds. We originally thought she was Roo but it looks like she's turning out to be a hen. Any ideas on her breed. She has yellow legs and feet while all our others have grey.

    No sure on chicken breeds but positive it's a SHE & think maybe a RIR?

    I was thinking New Hampshire Red mine are that age or a little older and already the UN-ordered roo is very easy to tell from the rest Rotten chicken sexer

    I am leaning toward Production Red, but the tail makes me think that there maybe some game in there.

    Thanks everyone! I found this pic of Shelby as a baby chick. I'm not sure but I believe she is the middle chick shown here. She is the only one survived out of her family. Her mom has grey legs. She must me a mix of breeds.
