A work in progress.
Very nice!! Can you come and build me one please? Sue
Nice! Greenhouse kit for the frame?
It actually wasn't a kit. Everything is from lowes. We have a tubing roller and we make our own bows. The tubing is 3/4 inch EMT and the connectors/ground stakes are 1"EMT. It is very very sturdy especially after the bracing is installed. Everything is bolted together. Dimensions are 12x24, half enclosed, half open, door out the back to an electronet pasture area. I'm thinking its going to run about $700. Had to drag up a lot of soil to level the ground with the tractor and added a nice sand base to top it off. It required a good bit of mental gymnastics to get everything just right but it seems to be coming together nicely. I like the French doors. They were actually a necessity as a full sized door wouldn't open properly due to the arched roof. With each piece of tin that went up the theme song from Hogans Heros got louder and louder. We think it looks very "military" in some respects, but again the French doors warm it up a bit . .
As an addendum, the idea came after building this greenhouse.
