Without missing a beat, she blurts out, "Buff Orpington"!!!

You are right on about being sponges. This kid knows all of the breeds in my signature. She has learned them and is really interested in their behaviour as am I.

She wants to be a Vet someday, and we all think she has what it takes (straight A's so far) to do it.
