How well would finches do outdoors? I Love my pair of zebras and was hoping to get a few more, perhaps some exotic colors, white zebras, weavers, black faced zebra and etc. But I dont have room for a bunch of bird cages in my room, What would a outdoor avairy need besides flying space and nesting boxes? how big should it be for 10-12 finches? any photos of yours?

Hi, My first aviary was a 8 foot square and was 10' tall. I had finches in it and it held about 15 pair real good. Now i have 6 finch avairies that are 10'w x 10'h and 30'l and keep 75 pairs in each. Besides the nest boxes and hanging perches, you need to make sure that they have a good roof and shelter area. Mine are covered only 3/4 and netting the rest. In case you do not know what a hanging perch is, it looks like a ladder but it hangs from the roof.
