We’ve had some mild vandalism a couple times my first year. The worst was only two broken windshields. Our dogs are a good deterrent but they can’t watch vehicles in the front of the house. Are there any other cheap security solutions? Any good outdoor security cam?

If you don't want to roll your own solution, Ubiquiti/Unifi makes a pretty easy to use cameras. The G3 Flex is a not bad and cheap option. Keep in mind you will have to run and terminate network cabling to each camera. If you want to record video you need an NVR (which they also make).

If you're fairly tek savvy you can roll your own solution but they are one of the easier ones.

You will be able to view the video from basically anywhere with internet.

Bullet and wedge cameras are just body styles.

But yes if you're hiring specialists they can probably put together something nicer for you than ubiquity cameras. It will cost more though.

I bought wireless cams from Walmart I think it was, they have a range of 600 feet and send the video from the six cameras to a computer in the house. The cameras also have the night vision feature as well.

I wasn't sure how to set up the cameras for quite a while, to see our driveway or shops or barn etc I had to place them in trees but I didn't want to simply attach them to tree branches. I finally realized that I could simply make bird houses and place the cameras in them viewing out the hole. This kept the cams covered and out of the weather and allowed me place them where I could watch everything but still get a good signal back to the house. I also got tired of changing batteries in them so I ran electric cords up the side of the trees and ran power to the cameras, making that a lot easier. Even with six cameras I only have just a small area covered well. Thankfully there really aren't many people out in this area and most of them are great people.

This isn't the system that we have but it is similar, looks a bit newer and more advanced than ours but we bought ours almost ten years ago. This system is 4 wireless cameras and the receiver for $40.69...

Something "like" this, should be reasonably cheap and easy to set up.
