has anyone ever shipped eggs overnight?

My last batch I bought had completely scrambled air cells

Working with the seller to get more. I would prefer them here before the holiday weekend, and next week is supposed to be hot where we are so I'd rather ship now.

Pros? Cons?

I'm trying to minimize the damage done by the PO...the seller packaged the eggs wonderfully (individually wrapped, packed tight, double boxed) so I know this wasn't a packing issue.

Advice please.

Thinking about express mail or overnight. They'd be coming from MO to VA.

If your willing to pay the extra shipping cost might be worth it. If it's real expensive eggs then that might be a good Idea.

Yes, they are expensive (to me at least, at $25 an egg)

I'm worried about them being shipped by plane though....and the possibility of them popping.
