An owl got at my ducks the other day and one of my mallards is walking on his ankle (thought it was the knee, but it's the ankle-duck anatomy is weird.) He can move his foot up, but not down.

Can this be fixed? I assume it's a tendon.

Show pictures. Owls seldom maim as they are good at making kills once contact made. Leg issue with survivor odd unless duck did itself trying to get away.

I heard them quacking and looked out my window. It was indeed an owl and was awesome to see up close. There were feathers floating on the top of the pond, and all ducks were missing. As soon as the owl was away they came up from underwater. (quack quack)
