oxytetracycline dosage?

If I wanted to give this to a chicken with a possible respiratory issue, what is the water to power ratio? The directions say to mix at the rate of one ounce per gallon. I was going to make this for one chicken and give for 7-14 days plus the entire flock even though flock has no signs. Should I increase the dosage that has the labored breathing?

It's not approved for use in laying hens, as far s I know. One ounce per gallon is 1/4 ounce per quart, fine for one bird. Good luck, Mary
